Citrus Slaw
 
  Ingredients:

2 cups
  green cabbage, thinly sliced
 
1 cup
  orange sections, diced
 
1/2 cup
  green bell pepper. thinly sliced
 
1/2 cup
  red bell pepper, thinly sliced
 
1/2 cup
  red onion, sliced vertically
 
2 tbsp
  canola oil
 
2 tbsp
  rice vinegar
 
2 tsp
  granulated sugar
 
2 tsp
  orange zest
   
  Directions:
   
  Mix all ingredients in medium bowl and chili for at least 4 hours. Remove from refrigerator and stir, sometimes you may need to adjust the oil, sugar and vinegar. Adding and addictional teaspoon of each normally do the job. Finish by topping the slaw with the orange zest right before serving.
   
  Chef Notes:
   
  I've add toasted pecan and it really adds a crunchy profile to the dish.
